Juvenile Green Frog on White Background

A juvenile Green Frog (Rana clamitans) photographed on a white background. Green Frogs typically spend a year in the tadpole stage before metamorphosing.

Very pale green adult male Green Frog

An adult Green Frog. You can tell that this is a male frog by the very large size of its tympanum. The call of male Green Frogs is a distinctive sound reminiscent of a person plucking a banjo string.
